INGREDIENTS

  • TACO MEAT – Seasoned taco beef or turkey works here. You can use homemade taco seasoning or store bought.
  • CHIPS – I personally love Fritos on this but growing up we had Nacho Cheese Doritos on our salads. Crunchy tortilla chips are great too!
  • LETTUCE – Some people will argue that iceberg lettuce is a must here but I like crisp Romaine lettuce.
  • TOMATOES – I like tomatoes or pico de gallo if I have it. I prefer the texture of grape tomatoes but Roma tomatoes can also be used.
  • SOUR CREAM
  • GUACAMOLE
  • OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS: black beans, refried beans, red onions, black olives, pico de gallo, salsa, fresh cilantro, green onions, bell pepperstaco salad
